i got this quiz back today but there was no note to say who'd won. I'd put pipe down and the answer was down pipe!!!! LOl
Any one know who won?

I, too, got my quiz back today, with the answers, but there was no mention of who had won. I thought, also, that some of the marking was, to say the least, somewhat eccentric !!And this is not me being a bad loser nor sour grapes!!! It would appear that slight variations to answers were rigidly disallowed.

I put pipe down and I also put look both ways and not look right and left before you cross the road but as you say what would have been nice was to see if anyone got them all right and who won

Sorry you didn't like our marking!! We were very strict so no one got all the correct answers - though 7 only got one wrong. So we picked the numbers from a hat.
The winner was Mrs Meinardi from Pickering who got all the tricky ones right - it was matinee that got her.
2nd was Mrs Sheridan from Folkestone & 3rd was Mrs Townsend from Sandbach - both AB entries.
