For 64, try 'Day Job of a Jobbing Gardener' by Mark Wallington. In it , he refers to Mrs Fleming "who is convinced there is buried treasure in the bottom bed". The story's based in Hampstead Heath.

That Hudson thing rings a bell ..wasn't there a Doc Hudson or someone in some series .... a coupe of some sort ?
I'm sure it was was a character and Paul Newman did his voice in some Disney thing .Hudson Hornet ?
