25ac A fortiori one cannot serve these ships (5-7) I know the answer is Three- Masters but I cannot find the word 'fortiori' anywhere. Does anyone k now its meaning or origin, please?
24ac Did this literary club take life too seriously? (7) s - i - i - e It looks like 'suicide' but again I can find no references to any such thing. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

(ah-for-she-ory) prep. Latin for "with even stronger reason," which applies to a situation in which if one thing is true then it can be inferred that a second thing is even more certainly true. Thus, if Abel is too young to serve as administrator, then his younger brother Cain certainly is too young.
