Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Thanks guys - I'll go with that. Unfortunately, I have 3 takeaway menus in front of me with 3 different spellings! (Josh, Gosh & Gosht!!!)

It has been stated in the past that if a solution has two legitimate spellings then both will be accepted as long as the rest of the grid is not compromised

Sorry, Pagolin. As I have said on here before, I have not the slightest doubt that the ambiguities are introduced deliberately - as is done in many other papers' crosswords.

There is usually one each week, and usually there is at least one alternative which could have been clued. I have no problem with this and quite enjoy arguing the likely solution with my AB friends.

My children now refer to any small dilemma as a "Katie"!

And I have not the slightest doubt that alternative spellings ARE accepted. That is what I have been told by the DT and unless someone can prove it to be otherwise, I, like Aquagility will stick to what I believe.
