MM & KM Links Oct 2007 [Week 2]

Tomorrow morning brings the start of Round 2 in the Reign of King Grenmus the Great which he has already declared is dedicated to a Sports theme. Certainly, Sport will dominate this weekend's activity ~ and whatever the shape of the ball, England (and Scotland) will be in contention! I wonder if there will ever be an Olympic Sport of Extreme Shrubbery Wrestling. Have I touched on tomorrow's chosen Sport or will it be yet another? Only time will tell!

Tonight will be frosty around the Buddleias, but the Shrubbery Squad will brave the elements and contend for the bonus of being first (or within two minutes) to predict a correct link word. This should be opened at 08.45 and the chosen words to be linked declared at 09.00 tomorrow morning. I have had words about keeping good time with King Grenmus the Great, who has promised to play with a straight bat (Cricket?).

One feature that has developed from our preambles is that we are beginning to get insight into what complex lives we MM-Linkers lead! Not least must be seekeerz who hails from Down Under in the Land of Oz and has volunteered to score the sister game (called KM Links) which will be nearly two hours old by the MM launch time! Look out for seekeerz from Oz who looks after the scores on the doors in a parallel universe. The KM Links Game kicks off about 07.00 and attracts its special set of nutters, alcoholics and insomniacs in equal numbers!

Me? I'm crofter keeper of the scores for MM Links for my sins. Last Tuesday was my birthday and my new age is "All square" ~ being a prime number times a PERFECT SQUARE, next year will be a PERFECT SQUARE and reverse to order of the digits of my new age gets yet another PERFECT SQUARE. Am I SQUARE? ~ No! But I'd like to think that I'm PERFECT!

Pauline it seems a little quiet here tonight and now S has left. I should have told him about the party last week!!!!!!!
I won't be here early in the morning because, weather permitting I am going to the Car Boot sale. I really enjoy them because I never know what I am going to find. It's a brilliant place for books, there are so many ,so people sell them for pence. The trouble is I can't resist a bargain so I have lots. It is also a great place for children's books and I buy loads for my grandchildren.

I am going to be late on myself Kay...Laura wants us all to go out for Breakfast together in the Cafe in Stockport she has a Saturday job in!! Why not an evening meal??...because of course she's out with her mates!!!

I will get the KM links on first hopefully, but if not they will both have to wait till lunchtime!!..The things we sacrifice for the kids!!

Thought I�d just say hello, too, Pauline, on my way to bed. I�m having a great time here in the Isle of Man- what am I doing? Not a lot - which is exactly what I needed. The weather here is fine and sunny, so will settle down quite happily in this part of the shrubbery ready for the morning rush. Not sure whether I�ll make the 9 a.m flurry, either - only one bathroom here in my son�s house and we all have to be out promptly tomorrow for a trip to the North of the Island, so we�ll see. Good night and happy birthday to Laura - not long now. Happy birthday, too, to Crofter, for last week.

Pauline don't know if it's allowed but I have sent a message to Laura on AB "good morning" number 623. No one will notice will they? I don't know if I will last until midnight tonight as my sleep pattern is getting back to normal so don't want to mess it up.
Have got to buy some false eyelashes and white lipstick in the morning also American tan tights!
We must organise another coach trip like we were discussing the other night (to Sarumites house) as more people seemed to come along.
Next chapter of my bedtime habits (after upside down alarm clock) About 3am this morning woke up with half a squashed gluten free choc muffin on my pillow!!! The problem is I don't remember taking it to bed or getting up in the night to fetch it so where did it come from and when did I eat half of it?????? Are you really sure you want me to visit you Pauline!!!!!!
