Has to be Sue - the S is firm, the E is the head of Employment, and to sue is to petition, but where does the U come from?

I was expecting to have to kick myself, but since Eng Lit was my one School Certificate failure in 1949 I don't think I should be expected to.

Poetry is a closed book for me unless Housman wrote it......and Miss Hargreaves is my favourite fictional character......
