I was a bit wary about answering this question as I was banned after I answered a previous clue to the Guardian crossword on Sunday.

I wrote:
grand lodge (anagram of danger + gold)
startle

This answer was banned and so was I. I am still not sure what was wrong with writing this as someone gave this answer later and it was not banned.
Lets just put it down to technical problems.

I'm fairly certain you were not banned owing to the content of your post netkey ... this has also happened to me with no explanation in the past, following which all my posts were removed.
I think it may relate to clicking on the submit button more than once, when it appears that a submission has not registered. This is a common occurrence when the site is experiencing its all too often go-slow antics!
