"Wakey, wakey! You lot in the Shrubbery." This is Queen Jan the Foremost of the Shrubbery with your early morning call. You've had a whole week to get used to Greenwich Mean Time, so let's be having you up and about.
By the time you read this, I shall be at work getting ready to sell fireworks and sparklers. I may even sparkle a little myself as I dance around the aisles doing Catherine Wheels! Well, a girl can dream. I cycled home from work the other day after buying some rockets for the grandchildren. Everybody said if they went off, I would look like ET cycling to the moon! I keep telling the children not to be silly with fireworks about.
It has been very busy at work lately with customers doing the strangest of things. Last week it was nearly my break time and I was restocking water bottles under the tills, when I spotted a lady unloading her trolley and putting her shopping by an empty checkout! I pointed out the obvious saying, "There's no cashier there!" Her reply was, "There's no sign there either saying the till's shut"! Throughout the month of November, I can simply demand instant punishment - "Off with her head"! Cheeky Mare!
Enough of this royal rambling! As for the everyday running of MM, I have followed the same rule as crofter on word length. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!
Each link word may go in front or behind my chosen word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when gen2 will declare my selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past.
My first set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am. Happy Linking and Good Luck to you all.
riscagirl, The 'Shrubbery' is a mythical place somewhat like 'Narnia' but instead of accessing it through a wardrobe, you will find your way in through a post each Friday evening entitled 'MM & KM Links Games'(or similar) and usually posted by crofter. This week it was I who opened the gates since crofter is away this weekend.
