KM Links Game - November week2 Results

Too early for even the keenest of our flock to be out and about, buying newspapers and solving the Herculis, but as I was here mulling over my failure to score anything with Queen Jan's obscurities, I took the opportunity to post in readiness for later events.

With AQ touring France, we'll see another [ possibly sarumite ] reliable soul revealing whatever it was that Kate had in mind for us all this time around.

Jan, you're a very clever girl, you're quite right - no wonder you're Queen of the Shrubbery Set

and will some body tell that kid Strix to stop throwing tantrums - they're not allowed !!! [ and what are marmoreal spheres, for heck sake !!! ]

Wellies not needed Steff .. went by car, but did have to scrape the windscreen .. yet still no points for me :O(

PS .. Strix's spheres are similar to those that we all probably played with in the school yard many years ago!!

This is going to be rather short and to the point - that being that the majority of us really bombed out this weekend - Kate was in one of her elusive moods, me thinks !!!

Hurricane Lamp was very popular - so much so that DizzyLizzie, lysander, MalcolmR & ulysses100 all picked up bonus points within the two-minute bracket.

A little while later, jan1956 grabbed bonus points for both Hand Loom and Slide Guitar [clever girl] plus 1for a
score of 5 points.

I must admit I thought the last match might go begging but at 10.49 MeadowLane came up with Speed Well and collected the last of the bonus points.

Scoring 2 points each for good guesses were wickedtongue & merched and several more scored 1 point, but the majority of us failed to worry the worry beads

I'll post this and come back with the leader board in a wee while

Oh dear I'm rubbish at this game. Still Jim got one. Thanks to Steff working the abacus and sarumite for braving the cold. Off to sort the Xword for you now Steff.

Ok, now I've stopped giggling - here is the update to the Leader Board and Queen Jan really is ruling the roost at present - after a spectacular effort she is leading -
