If anyone else can help with 87 the question is
Its usually put in rolls but hasnt the best of flavour (4 8 5)
thankyou smouse i would never have got that , i did notice your observation on no30. you seem to be doing well i have another half dozen which im struggling with
I've got nativity for 52 but dont ask me to explain that cos I can and wish I could
can see navy but where rest comes from I wish I knew cos I hate it if I cant see why
My method was to assume it was a naval ship, hence an HMS. I assumed there had been 15 ships with such a name, the first one in 1242. I typed in " HMS from 1242" and the answer appeared. It's not HMS Victory!!
15. 52 Festive Road (Suspect quizmaster's letter count is wrong !}
50. The answer I am considering is "Red Red Wine", but it was not sung by Neil Diamond ("Diamond" geezer).
54. White Queen (This chess piece starts on Square D1)
71. Speech Impediments.
87. Gift Wrapping Paper.
89. Nicholas Parsons (compered "Just A Minute" on radio).
Regret that I have none of the other numbers answered, which are mentioned above in various postings.
