Can someone please explain 14 down?

The perfect plant (3-4).

Answer given is ALL GOOD

Obviously the perfect bit makes sense but can't find any plant references on Google for ALL GOOD

We're confused!

hi - I've found it listed in Chambers: all good - the plant good-King-Henry (First time I've heard of it)
According to Chambers there is a plant "all-good" defined as the plant good-King Henry.
meant to say - apparently it's a type of goosefoot used in cooking and sometimes grown as a pot-herb (per Chambers)
Most compilers use Chambers, Rain Man, and it often has a rather quirky list of definitions. If you haven't got a copy, still time to ask Father Christmas...
