I wonder if the quiz setter has made a mistake?

golf Seve Ballesteros but you have an A too many and an E short (or have i got the wrong spelling of his surname?)

I thought the same as you squarebear about FOOTBALL,but when you put remaining letters in anagram site,nothing comes up.Still got three weeks before I go on holiday,trying to get a few quizzes finished.Thank you any way.
