sorry don't know but here's food for thought - " in the 40's and 50's i could buy a bag of crisp for threepence (three -old pence) this equates to 4 bags for a shilling and 80 bags for �1 and even then it was a bit of a treat ! strewth if only ?

phizzy I bought my first home for �2,000 in 1970, pity the first time buyers today.
I don't know about 1973 but in the late 60s singles were 6/8 i.e three to the �1 and most LPs were 39/6 i.e 6d less than �2
Stamps were 18p and 26p
