KM Links Game - December week 5

Good morning everyone and how are we all, after all the fun and games of last weekend and subsequent Christmas festivities - I do hope Santa brought you all the things you were wishing for.
I also hope that Kate has shed her festive spirit and the crossword will be something we all recognize this time around - it will make life somewhat easier if it it.
With all the holiday makers still at places far and wide, I have no idea who will post the link words for us this morning, however hope springs eternal, they say - they just didn't say when, so we'll just have to be patient and wait.
As soon as that does occur though, we all get to have our go - and of course that will continue till Monday morning when the game concludes with the printing of the matching words.
So Good Luck for the last game for the month and the year - goodness hasn't it flown by - or perhaps it's just me

Just to pick up on Steff's point about repetition, I don't think it matters a tuppenny if you repeat someone's selection, on either KM or even on the (perhaps) less cut-throat MM.
The idea of both competitions is to try to guess the answers correctly. And if some of you are kind enough to entertain us with subtle puns et al, you know that it will reduce your chances. So be it.
In any case, I doubt if any of us search back through the previous entries - at least until we've posted our own.
