I would guess Brian Blessed Wolfie as he was probably the most recognisable character from Z Cars although James Ellis was in it far longer and a much bigger star at the time. James Nesbitt is too young and was never in it to my recollection. Please could you let us know of the answer Wolfie to save spending any more time on it
