julesy - we toured around (Oxford, London, Ashford, Calais booze cruise and Straford) so it was only a slight detour to drop the envelope in - Capel was very quiet on New Year's Day!!
Do you why a lot of the roads are named with Christian names?

I think (just a guess) the roads are named after Queen Victoria's offspring.
Beatrice, Victoria, Albert, Alexander etc etc.
At some time in the past a new main road was put through the middle of the village so we now have the same road name on either side of the main road. Very confusing for first time visitors.
