I'm stuck on one can any one help please?
49. Sounds like there is a few floors to cover (6,7)
I know ALLIED CARPETS fits the number of letters but I can't tie it in with the clue (other than the carpet bit)
Has any one any other ideas

The clue sounds as if it should be Storeys Carpets, but doesn't fit.

Storey carpets, without the "s" it is not plural.
Storey(Floors).
Carpets(Cover.)

I think it is always pronounced with the "s" on.

Sorry yarmite, just checked and it can be pronounced Storey. When I first looked it said Storeys, hence my answer !

Thanks everyone knew they did floor coverings just didn't associate them with carpets. Doh!
