For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.can't resist a clue or two - is bus driver on board - are there any other passengers - are the girl's backpacks on the bus or on the pavement - do all the girls have all their legs - does each big cat and little cat have four legs - are any of the girls sat with a leg apiece through the window - i think last time this was on A.B. there were loads more even sillier but plausible possibilities - i think someone asked did any of the 'passengers' have a centipede or two with them ..........er about flies ??
aw c'mon surely we are trying to out-do a 5th grader - so it can't possibly be 72 - don't you think that is too easy - stick with the doubters - if we can't be taken to the damn bus and see 'everything' then the answer is surely anything from zero to - er - well how many noughts can you count to ?? one thing is for sure - question always gets a brilliant response - better than watching that other 'orrible little box - hey there's a thought - if you have 7 remotes and each remote has a one for all - and each remote and one for all has 25 ........... strewth stop me - i'm off for a cuppa JUST ONE ! - no harm meant just smile with me .
Putting aside the stupidity of the question, if you are taking it at face value as a genuine sum, then beavisshakur is way off with his 72. The girls and driver would account for 16 legs. Each of the 7 backpacks has 7 cats, so 49 cats for each girl so that gives 343 cats for all the girls. Then every cat has 7 kittens so that comes to 2401. Add those two figures together and multiply by 4 for the legs and then add on the human 16 legs, If my arithmetic hasn't gone wrong, I make it a total of 10,992 legs and a waste of 10 minutes!!
sorry - i'm here again - just been looking at the question again, and if it is to be take literelly, and disregarding whether there are other people or animals or indeed anthing whatsoever that may have legs, and if we assume, that because the driver isn't mentioned, there is no driver involved, and then maybe viewing this as a real 'trick' question, then i would say there aren't any legs IN the bus as the girls are ON the bus. - this again assuming the backpacks are indeed with the girls. I wonder if this situation ever confronted 'Reg Varney' ?
