KM Links Game - February week 2 Results

Another Monday morning has rolled around and we are awaiting today's link words - one of the trusty and reliable
early risers will be posting them shortly for the completion of this weekends game.

Just to while away the time - very glad to hear from ulysses100 that it was his computer keeping him from the revelry and nothing more sinister. We do take them for granted most of the time, but when the proverbial hits the fan, it's usually major spending time.

And for Prescott - I don't actually get to see the Crossword until Jools gets an opportunity to 'post' it to me so I'm 'winging it' when I post my entry and keeping fingers crossed that my answer isn't part of the original question, but then, I think a few of us haven't seen the puzzle when we post - paper deliveries being what they are. I just hope that all my reliable posters don't all go awol at the same time. Hope that clarifies things for you.

Lazy,idle lie-a-bed. Pauline. You may have another zilch, but I have two points which could have been four if I'd got up earlier.
The really important thing is to suss out what Kate has in mind!
Strix suggests that copper nickel may spring to the tongue in America, but over here it was generally known as cupronickel (one word). Where does that leave us?
And as a matter of interest, cupronickel was not used for 'coppers', but for so-called 'silver' change.
