I can see that SHINGLE is the answer as it is a haircut, but how does the rest of the clue work ?
I usually do general knowledge crosswords, so am not up on cryptic clues so i would appreciate some help.

Hi LadyAlex. One = single (pronounced with a lisp, as when drunk, gives you shhh..ingle!
