There is a place called Stoneyhurst near Clitheroe and also a place called Hapton - hope this helps.

Has anyone got an answer for Rotten Pig - I know the answer is generally OLDHAM, but Oldham is hardly in or around Burnley & Pendle

Thanks for that Legolassie, we seem to be stuck now on the same ones. I can't get my head round Huntroyde - hun i agree with for German but a troy is a small weight, I can't find reference to troyde.
will let you know if i come up with anything.

Thanks greengoddess. It looks like a few of us are looking for the same ones 10 and 22. These are real toughies. I have had more maps out that I care to count - bus routes - election areas but I still have a feeling that these two are areas in Burnley.
