The Winners in the bottom 3 leagues didn't even get the entry fee back. That doesn't seem fair to me. What do others think?

It seems really weird that teams can strive to obtain top marks and get little return.
It also appears that teams under the new system are winning sums for less than perfect scores .
Methinks it needs a rethink.
