MM Links March [Week 1]

This is crofter (MM referee and scoremaster) introducing the first week on behalf of Lady Alex, who is currently sunning herself on the Island of Madeira. She was informed of her win on MM Links February only hours before she was due to leave the UK for warmer climes.

I know very little about Lady Alex, which could be a good thing as I can therefore provide little in the way of clues and hints. She hails from Tayside and last month was her first attempt at our MM Links Game. Beginner's Luck? Possibly! She amassed SIX points for six hits (and no bonus points for being among the first to guess a link word correctly).
