According to some accounts they were secretly married at sea in 1933 but did not reveal their marriage until 1936, the year Modern Times was released.

Sorry, that didn't come out. The question about the what opened in1967 has already been asked on the Answerbank.
The Blackwall Tunnel opened in 1967, the Dartford in 1963 according to that answer. (and Wikipedia)
