Sorry I have sent mine off but I think 22a across was STYLE because ETCH would not fit in.
Did u know that Newham Recorder [Wed], B&D Recorder[Thurs] and Romford Recorder[Friday] all run the same crossword each week, I once won two of them in one week, tried for the hat trick but was not lucky.

Dee Sa! Good to see another fellow B and D'er here! I did know they run it in those papers, AND the Ilford Recorder too! I think it's not bad for a crossword in a local paper to be fair. What IS the prize? Is it cash or a voucher?
