I would guess that you're quite young, sambro. I'm of retirement age, just, and I had a diabolo as a child. It's one of those fads that hasn't come round again like hula hoops or yo yos.

Yes, so did I, but I was quite useless at it. Girls were best. They could throw the diabolo up to great heights and then catch it again on the string without interrupting its rotation.

Yes, I could do that - the secret was getting it moving really fast on the string before tossing it up in the air. You may be right, I'm female.
