Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

35d. Without fixed limits 4 & 5 OPEN L ? D ? D (L is from (Mary) SHELLY?) I thought OPEN ENDED but it can't be if SHELLY is right? Is there an expression OPEN LADED or OPEN LODED?

42d. Gloomy ? E ? R E is again from SHELLY.

Many thanks shaneystar2. To my rescue yet again. Stoker of course.
What a wally I am. Mary Shelly wrote Frankenstein. Silly thing is I saw Bran Stoker on a Dracula website & ignored it. Must be the effects of 2 Telegraph crosswords in one day. Can give my eyes a rest now.

If you look in again, how are you? Don't see your name much these days. A box of chocs it is should I win. All the best.

I am very well thank you cheshunt....I 'm still around ! Saturday is always a busy day for me and it's usually evening time before I get to start the Telegraph and have some AB time ,
