Has anyone tried to enter today's competition? When submitting answer a pop up says This competition closed April 23 . . . . . Strange!!!

Do you have a clue to answer 2? I got as far as King Alfred's Tower, but not sure if the clue means to visit it or turn off right beforehand. The "journey's end village" is 9 westerly miles - but along which road?

Top Cat2 . .. . You should have been travelling along the A359. Do not visit the Tower. Turn right at Bruton and take the minor road until you meet the A37. You are at your destination. Good luck

It now seems easy, but looking at the map before it was just a maze of minor roads with any one village being possible. A good quiz this week.
