MM and KM Links May 2008 [Week 4]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

Welcome to this final week in the reign of Lady Judy, who has done exceptionally well for a person who couldn't "Cut and Paste" a few weeks ago! I tell you this in case the newly appointed MM Links Champion gets worried when they are chosen on Sunday evening at 7.00pm. This setter has certainly tested your mettle when it comes to lateral thinking. You have been warned!

There are several AB-Linkers who are well placed to carry off the MM trophy and I look forward to a keenly contested final round. The site should open about 8.45 am tomorrow morning and the four words to be linked will be declared at 9.00am tomorrow, when MM Links kicks off in earnest.

Speaking personally, I am looking forward to the international version of this same game is called KM Links, which kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Firstly, we are anticipating the return of seekeerz our very own Wizard of Oz, who has been experiencing problems with her PC. Secondly, I am in pole position and only one point ahead of the chasing field. I usually log on about 8.30am ~ far too late for bonus points!

Why not chance your arm at both Link Games? There are only four weeks this month, so we're in the home straight. Will I fall at the final jump? Will I be pipped at the post? All will be revealed VERY soon!

The latest news I have from Steff seekeerz, was received on Thursday and said:

I'm due to pick up the new computer tomorrow (Friday) but please don't count on my being on deck Saturday just in case.

So I will continue to hold the reins of the KM game until I hear from her.

Best of luck crofter in that game - hope you can hold on to your slim lead. My advice is to get in early and have a chance at the bonus points.

What amuses me is that Chelsea F.C. aren't even in Chelsea but in Fulham!

And as a Team they were only created to use the newly built Stamford Bridge soccer ground.

p.s. Like sarumite I am NOT a soccer fan!

Yes - very good Pauline.
Of course I know of Stockport County and Rochdale as well.
My nearest soccer team is Aldershot who return to the Football League next season of course.
One day the Cup Final maybe between Stockport and Aldershot........but I doubt I will be around then !

I am having a real rave up at the moment!!!! Am shredding old accounts and have been doing it for the last 2 evenings. Got sackfuls of shredded paper to recycle but it'a a bit boring.
S I was singing along to Moonshadow. For some reason I remember lyrics of songs, even if they are old.
I may be dressing up as Sporty Spice on Monday!!!!
We had a Carnival type day on Monday (Lichfield Bower) and Lindsey had organised a float from Evie'sschool but loads of people have dropped out and there is no one to be Sporty, so dear old mum has stupidly volunteered!!!!
Why does my mouth work before my brain goes into gear!!!

I find it theraputic to start with but there is so much (9 years accounts).
Guess what I have done.... Pauline it's another Kay moment. I had my points voucher from Tesco today (only �3.)but have accidently shredded it!!!!!!)
What colour do Stockport wear? I am really annoyed with myself, should have decorated hats with team colours.
