Inquisitor #74 Misprinted clues?

Struggling with this. Solved 60% of clues and entered various parts into grid.I feel I'm on the brink of that eureka moment. However, I can't help but think that there are possibly misprints in at least three clues.14,15,17 a (chap, healthy/plains, Does resp.)are contenders. I might be wrong but recent puzzles have contained an unacceptably high level of mistakes. This slipshod attitude is incongruous to the degree of difficulty and scrupulously exact attitude the solver must have. I've had my little rant, so can anyone out there give me a hint for current puzzle or add their own opinion about these little(deliberate?? I think not)) mistakes?

There is a misprint in the clue for 15a. It should be "heathy" not "healthy". I think the clues for the other two you mention are OK.

What sort of a hint do you want?

The quotation that is around the perimeter, although described as a "favourite", is not one that I could find reference to anywhere on the internet.
