Hi Novalis! I had thought of Kaiser Wilhelm (William) for no 3, but the trouble is that Edward VII was Kaiser Bill's uncle, and (generally speaking) also uncle to Tsar Nicholas .... Queen Alexandra was his mother's sister.

At the time that Kaiser Wilhelm II was the Kaiser & Tsar Nicholas was still alive, Edward VIII was known as David.

Am I being too pedantic? I don't have any better ideas.
