Can somebody tell me 1across, 9 down and 10down.

There are no clues for these, Gen2 which Ziggi should have explained. I haven't got them yet, so can't help at the moment. 10d I have ?p?a?c?r?ie?s and it's two words, though I don't know where the break comes. It's the key to all the 'extra' bits to the puzzle and will give an instruction to aply to some of the other clues, as far as I can gather.

My question was obviously (I thought) aimed only at those who do the Spectator crossword, in which case they would know what I was talking about.

Ziggi, People who don't do the Spectator won't know there are sometimes questions without clues and so many people ask for help without putting clues in that it can get frustrating if you're someone who would like the challenge of solving it but don't get that paper, or if you just want to help.
