a frontiersman
Question Author
Who else in American History was bestowed this honor?
He was a frontiers that died at the Alamo, but I remember him for what he did as a senator.
He was a frontiersman, but none of you are anywhere near answering the question. I'll repeat the clues I gave earlier: the thing that he was immortalised as is known in the UK but much more famous in the USA, and it's something you can easily hold in one hand.
I thought Daniel Boone was a lawyer and, later, someone wrote a play in which he was a character.

He's memorialized as the founder of the First American Democracy in 1775, with the building of it's capitol, Fort Boonesborough, on the site of his 1770 Kentucky home
all of these sites are going to be checked for people who are using them to get answers. if you read the rules it is a violation to use these types of sites. so good luck on the contest. and Daniel Boone was memorialized as a crop duster in 1920
At the unveiling of the bust of Colonel Daniel Boone of Kentucky in the Hall of Fame in Washington, D.C., on May 12, 1926, he was memorialized as "the founder of the First American democracy in 1775, with the building of its capitol, Fort Boonesborough, on the site of Boone's Kentucky home of 1770." http://www.pastseeker.com/boone/kentucky/bboro.shtml great site

And PLEASE check first to see if the question already appears in that category (as this one does, scores of times!

its not a bobble head but close...
It is ok to get your answers anyway you can and no site will be checked...If all the people complaining about people asking Q were SMART enough they would know that it will come down to the essay..TIE BREAKER ??????????????
monkeymant.... if you read the rules, and it is a "violation" of the rules to use sites such as this, what are you doing here and why would you be sharing information? Wouldn't that put you and your team in jeapordy? IT IS NOT AGAINST THE RULES... I and many others have called to check it out, and Marlboro doesn't really care how you come up with the answers...read your rules again there buddy
