i'm doing a quiz on behalf of a friend, and i'm looking for either another word for, or a literal description of, a "Long Shoot of Willow"?

i'm thinking rush, or cane but the more words the better really!! it's not a crossword, just a cryptic clue that relates to a town/village in Devon or Cornwall. It's really specific and difficult to explain!!!

many thanks in advance

xx

osier is a word to describe a willow. i looked up the exact definition and it is described as 'any of several willows having long rodlike twigs'.

I don't know how this relates to a village in Devon though.
A Withe or Withy either spelling is usually acceptable
