Which RAF base on the Wash is the largest in the country when the tide's out, and the smallest when the tide's in? Also, Which famous plane maker was responsible for The Anson? Is it A. V. Roe, or is it Avro? Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.
A.V. Roe was the maker -Avro Anson was the quick way of referring to the a/craft.
The Air- to- Ground attack Range on the Wash would qualify when the Wash was at low tide and again when the tide was in- in which case RAF Wainfleet would be your Station.
I would check the answer, as I believe the bombing range at RAF Donna Nook is larger. And the tide comes in further possibly also making it the smallest.
Thank you very much for your answercolumbus. Much appreciated. Apologies for the delay in answering you. I've just checked the computer after a couple of days away.
