Entertaining conservative suggests we have to include a "c" into something meaning lost marbles ie mad -but I can't get it.

Also the answer to 23a "Married life studies (by Right) get it wrong " is misconstrue. Get it wrong = misconstrue. True =right . Marry means join together. But how does life studies = miscons?

kind of spurious, I know, but loosely is = to be = life. May or may not be right, but I'm sure there is someone out there who can correct us both :o)

The clue actually says "lives" rather than "life".
