Most likely the one between Johnny Moss and Nick 'The Greek' Dandalos at the Shoe in Vegas....I shall find a link...
I was wrong. The longest poker game in history apparently took place at The Bird Cage, in Tombstone Arizona. It ran continually for 8 years, 5 months and 3 days. By comparison The Greek/Moss game (in 1949) was over in a paltry five months. Some people have no stamina. Link here - http://home.online.no/~janalme/Tombstone/birdcage.html
Thanks Dave. This was a great help.

yes, thank you ,I have been racking my brains trying to find this one to no avail..unlike others who just post questions I like to try and find the answers on my own..
The longest recorded nonstop poker game took place in a tiny WV town in a hotel frequented by coal barons. Seems to me the name of the town was Thurmond, but I' ll have to verify that.
How hard is it to google 'longest poker game' ??????????????????????????
