I am unable to download the correct clues from the telegraph website, and there are several clues that do not fit the grid, eg 77a eggplant (9) = 76a(7) and 66d glaringly obvious =66d (5) any help would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance
unfortunatley it comes up with "error on page" and is completely blank- not sure if it is my computer or the website, but I have tried it several times yesterday and today with the same result, leaving me with a problem for 76a, 11d, 13d, and 66d
Try going to telegraph.co.uk When the main page comes up click on the crossword link (in the light blue area). From that page you will see a link to the grid. Good luck!
Regarding your problem reading the page - it is a .pdf file so you need Adobe Acrobat reader to view it.
Try the following:
Right-click on the link given by Catron and choose 'Save File As . . .'
Save the file to a folder on your hard drive then open up the folder and open the .pdf file that is in it.
Dear All,
Thank you so much for your collective help
- gen2 your solution worked beautifully , and I now have the correct grid, and the questions and answers make perfect sense.
Perhaps the telegraph are trying to challenge our brains still further by adding a new twist to the crosswords!
