I clearly cannot answer for Quizmaster, but I would most assuredly not have criticised Kayakamina for revealing Spectator answers. In turn, had I been Kayakamina, I would equally certainly not have felt that I had been ticked off and that, consequently, I could not now 'give too much away'.
Where these people get the idea that they can set rules here other than those of the site is a mystery to me.
