Here we are again at the beginning of a new month with a couple of brand new Link Game challenges. May I begin with a personal plea to wickedtongue to ask him to contact me at <[email protected]>. I need to have advance notice of his chosen link words, so that I can carry out the marking process. I know that (as a previous MM Champion) I have had access to his e-mail address, but once the particular month has passed, I tend to respect the confidentiality of the Champion and delete their personal details! If wickedtongue fails to read this then I'll catch him tomorrow at the launch.

For the benefit of any newcomers to our game of prediction, wickedtongue is a true legend. He was the very first to score 100% with a maximum score of 10 points predicting the late and great Michael Mepham (in whose memory we play the MM Links Game). He should set some worthy challenges. Look out for his first launch, which should take place tomorrow at 8.45am with his four words to be linked being declared at 9.00am.

This week should also see the continued successful return of seekeerz from Oz, who is the gatekeeper for the international version of this same game (called KM Links) and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Why not try your hand at BOTH games.

This is the first Friday in the month and therefore I have my own Quiz at the local Cricket Club and tonight I am the Quiz setter! The clock is coming up to 19.00, so I'd better get this posted for the ramblings of the Shrubbery Squad!

As for me, I am crofter, Keeper of the Rule Book and Sacred Abacus.

Happy Linking!

I am struggling tonight as I collected my first pair of varifocal glasses this afternoon and they are very difficult to get used to!!!
Have only just got in, but isn't it quiet without PW!!!!
Has everyone gone or is there someone hiding under a tree?
I know it's a bit damp in this shrubbery but where's your spirit of adventure???
We could build a campfire, or make a shelter out of branches.
Someone has to be here somewhere.
Where is Sarumite? Come on S I know you are good at camouflage but you can come out of hiding now.
