does anyone know if its acceptable to use tipp-ex if a mistake is made when filling out a quiz

The rules may vary from one puzzle to another but I believe it is acceptable in most as long as the entry is clear. A few months ago someone posted on here that they had won a prize in a newspaper crossword and that confirmed for them that tippex WAS acceptable in that particulat paper (not sure which one though).

thanks gen 2 its most annoying when you make a silly mistake i suppose in the end its always better to use tipp-ex than leave a wrong answer . thanks again.

All the Lovatt magazines allow the use of Tippex

A few years when I went to Uni as a mature student I was fairly new to I T, but even I wouldn't have dreamed of doing what I witnessed one of the kiddywinks doing. Yes you've guessed it, he was only ********* his errors on the screen. And this is from the generation born with a keyboard in their mitts.
