A question for all quiz setters
3 Answers
I've just spent ages writing cheques to the value of 1 each time for various quizzes I'm sending for, and am wondering whether you quiz setters would be happy to receive a high street store voucher (e.g. Boots) instead, or is there any other voucher-type method of payment people prefer?
As a quiz setter myself, I would be happy to receive vouchers from any high street store, but would welcome opinions from others.
Thanks in anticipation.

As pointed out I started to accept Tesco gift cards for my Cinnamon Trust quizzes last year. I chose Tesco as I live in Cornwall and there are not a lot of the big stores round here - M&S, WH Smiths etc - or the other supermarkets and Tesco is fairly nationwide. Also, they do these cards that are like a credit card and can be topped up with any amount and do not cost any premium to either sender or recipient. This was after I found out how much postal orders cost !!
However, not many people have taken up the idea, those that have think it is great.
I think it has its merits and continue to offer this as a method of payment along with cheque and cash.
Good luck

Good afternoon to you both. Firstly, Cinnamon Quiz - great one but I'm absolutely stumped on some! May just send for answers without sending in sheet, but will let you know.
Thanks for the comments re vouchers, and I note that Tesco may be the best one to use. I personally will not shop in that store - I have a rooted objection to its philosophies and locations - but I may begin to ask quiz setters what they will accept before sending for their quiz.
I agree with the comments re postal orders, by the way. Daylight robbery!
Best wishes.
