Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Will anyone give me a few clues to 2, 3, 9, 17 and 18.

I've nearly given up, but not quite ready to concede defeat. I've found this quiz extremely difficult, and I'm not even sure about the ones I've answered.

Oh dear. I must be thicker than I realised, because I'm not getting your hints, TweeBee. Well, I've sort-of tumbled number 18, but can't see where the pencil comes in.

I feel like throwing the towel in on this one.

I think I've cracked No.3 now, TweeBee, but still having trouble with No. 2. I know what the connection is, from your excellent clues, but I can't identify picture 2a, and I can't see what a bear and a kettle have got to do with it.

And that's only the first page! I'm hopeless at this.

Kettle is also a brand of these snacks, and 2a is a tower in Seattle with the name of one of the most well known brands. Like you I'm unsure of 2b, but there is a brand called Pom-Bear. I'm with you fordward and have just posted a separate posting for help on the connections for 4 and 12.

I didn't give a clue to 15 - that was a comment !! Sorry to mislead you.

No 4 I have said before that if you google the names in pairs, you can find a connection. It's Black btw.

OK! re 15 as I couldn't make sense of it as a clue anyway! Sorry it was 9 I'm still struggling with not 4. I've sorted that one. Nearly at the wild guess stage now.
