Struggling with this but plodding on

Does anyone think there is a mistake with the number of letters for 22 and 44

My answer for 22 has 7 letters and the one for 44 has 9 letters

Both 22 & 44 should have 8 letters sincere apologies.
If anyone had found answers that fitted these clues within the wrong number of letters we would accept them.
