19d sniggle
Do you have 8d? Can't find it anywhere.
8d Andrew McCance
still struggling with 26a as if 19d is sniggle the letters would be c-i-g
elsewhere crine was posted??
hi rotovator - I found "cling" in Chambers meaning to shrivel - best I could come up with.
Sounds good to me - that will hopefully finish this - cheers
Got sniggle in Chambers. Found archaic meaning of cling- to shrivel - there too. However you may be right. Maybe someon else can come up with an alternative to sniggle.
hi all (sorry EL8561 for "blethering" on your thread) I'm sure
sniggle is right as the clue matches the def. in Chambers exactly. I preferred the word crine for 26a and was hoping to find cring somewhere but no luck. Will just have to with cling and hope for the best...
