Why are people posting thanks to ABers as a new question instead of on the original post. Anyone looking for thanks can subscribe to question although I feel that function may not be working just now.

What's wrong with rating the answer.
With all the problems we have with AB Q&P at the moment we don't need people wasting space with their thank yous (although at least they ARE saying thanks!)

Its not always easy to do that, and it has taken
me 12 attempts to to get on to the site and this
is my 4th attempt to respond to this post.
What bugs me is when someone does not
take the time to say THANK YOU or even
rate it with a star or two - that way you know at
least they got the answer and it must be correct.
Ah well sure we are only in this world for a short
time, lets all be nice to one another and make the
best of it.
