Good Morning ABers and welcome to the second week of King Ulysses the Valiant setting the link words.

My house move last week went smoothly. Now, it's just the decorating, the unpacking, the gardening, the letting relevant people know, etc, etc, which will keep me busy for the ensuing months. The problem is that I cannot get on-line and I have been informed by AOL that it might still be a few more weeks before I am back on broadband!

At the moment I have a dial-up connection so I can read and send e-mails, but I cannot do anything else! Many thanks to crofter for launching me last week, and again it looks as if he's going to do the honours again for me today. It means that I couldn't see what was happening last week, and what I thought were some easy link words proved to be difficult to match up, although slaney accepts the challenge saying "bring it on"!

In my youth, I had a great interest in Nature Study when every child had a Nature Table in the classroom. I spent a lot of time on projects on all things to do with plants and animals. To this day, I still retain very strong interests in wild life. I often lead botany walks throughout the year and do a spot of bird-watching at the same time. I was so pleased the other week to catch a couple of dotterels on passage -- a first for me.

I have just re-read the text above and see that it is open to misinterpretation! All I can say is Honi soit qui mal y pense and stop digging myself a hole!

According to normal practice, for the everyday running of MM, I will follow the usual rule on word length as introduced by crofter. Each of my pre-selected link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!

Each of the selected link words may go in front or behind my challenge word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when crofter will declare my pre-selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past. My second set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am.
Well the options there are numerous!!!

I will guess...the four seasons...to do with nature.
Miles off I am sure!
Yes, Pauline, four seasons

Vivaldi?
Pizza?
Autumn leaves drift past the window.......

Na, King U is too devious for that
Arghh..I knew I would live to regret that!

Memo to self: Never post after even one glass of wine!
More likely to be "wildlife" in your case Pauline?? :O)
could be the birds and the bees
Then maybe he is going back to his schooldays?..classroom links?...slate boards...ink wells...bench seats? :-))
