KM Links Game - October week 3 Results

Another interesting little collection of conundrums provided by Kate this morning and surpringly it took till early afternoon and an entry from across the pond for the last of the links to go off - there'll be celebrating in Ontario whatever the time is.

Back to the beginning though and I know someone who will be sitting there with a very satisfied grin on his face after scooping three out of a possible four matches and a whole 6 points all to himself - where are you, Aquagility ?? having taken out Eider Down, Spring Greens and Choke Chain, - feeling right chuffed, I imagine !!

But wait, there's more - the very mis-named lady known to us as Dizzy Lizzie managed a very tidy 4 points for herself with two of the above matches.

And as mentioned at the start of this wandering tale, Mrs O came in with Love Birds for the final two bonus points, plus an extra point for a good guess = 3 points.

On to the good guess department - with three points each came JRB & gen2 while with two points each were london_lassy, patchett, deecee131, shawnee, Christiana, crofter, Elspeth, chriss, Magyar, lordalex, Prescott & [the absolutely fabulous] Dustybun !! [did I get it right this time, yes I think I did phew.] and a further 19 entries added a point to their existing total.

Congratulations to all of the above, needless to say, "you've all done very well" - I shall now retire to the counting house and do sums and then we'll see where we are at, so bye for a bit and I'll be back ...........S

Lordalex is overwhelmed with delight and pride. It's the first time he has scored anything and he got 2 points. There will be no living with him now.....but then.......

Can't believe I actually got two points on the KM. Previously unheard of as I have never been on Kate's wavelength so maybe there's hope for me yet. Many thanks to all the Movers & Shakers! D :0)

At least one point gained.....but I agree with yellow11 that the normal quote from Aristotle is "one swallow doesn't make a summer" although it has occasionally been misquoted as "spring".
Is Kate losing her (Elgin) marbles?
