i think it is a signwriter making a sign saying eg 'smith and jones'.
he needs to start again as the gaps between 'smith' and 'and' and 'and' and jones are too small.
5 `And's'

There was a man who had a bar. The bar was called, "The Pig and Whistle." The owner paid a signwriter to make a new sign for his bar. When the new sign was hung the owner was annoyed at the signwriter for getting it wrong. The signwriter had written it "Pigwhistle."
As the owner explained there should be a space between Pig and "and" and "and" and Whistle!

The second bit is a bit tougher. The R is short for are, so you've got RD? - Are they. DR - They are. Then Oo R, so D R - OOh! Ah! So they are. I think it's the scouse mickeytake of pronouncing th as a D

"Dey do dough, don't dey dough"
This so reminds me of the silly rhyme -

AB, CD gol'fish
MNO gol'fish
SDR gol'fish
CDBDIs.
