KM Links Game - November week 2 Results

The waiting is almost over and I anticipate another points-fest for the players.
BUT
Kate has been known to throw the odd curved ball in the past so best we don't count our chickens just yet.

We now await an early solver to post Kate's links from the Herculis puzzle and then I'll get going with the sums to see if Mrs E has retained her lead or not.

Only six non-scorers this week so I was right about the points-fest, but with all those points around this could take quite some time.

As I said earlier, there were points for almost everyone this week but no clean sweeps, probably because the cunning Kate chose HAND SPAN and that was the definition in Saturday's paper. Consequently, only 3 people went for it as an option.

cliffyg kicked off the game for us at 6:28am and immediately snaffled three of the links for 6 points and is consequently our TOP SCORER for this week. ***CONGRATULATIONS***

The final link of HAND SPAN fell 25 minutes later to entrant number 7 deecee131 who also picked up a single for 3 points.

Other good guessers with three correct (and 3 points) were jan1956 & roslyn251254

Last week's top scorer Mrs E managed two singles this week along with 15 others (too many to list) and there were 29 single-point scorers.

I see that I am in equal 5th position thanks to getting the HAND in the right place. Well done to the top 4. When I see CLIFFYG this afternoon I will enquire how he did so well and so early after a cricket dinner (and refreshments!).

Well done all you big scorers and Gen 2 for coping with the influx. I see from my scrappy bit of paper that I had all four but scrapped two of them in my efforts to be different. I doubt, though, it will get me out of bed any earlier next week.
